This is probably not the most romantic way to spend a honeymoon but we are glad we are here and we are having a great time! The people we are working with are so much fun. We will do this again.

Hi, I am not sure I am allowed to post,as I am not there physically doing the work to build houses, but I feel I have a stake in this venture too. My parents, their pastor and another man from their church in Carbondale, IL are all there working this week. I had to work here in Florida so was not able to go this time! Maybe on another trip. But I have a stake in this with not only family there, but with the prayers that I am sending up on behalf of all of you who ARE able to be the hands and feet of Jesus in Baton Rouge, LA. It is a wonderful thing that you are doing, keep up the good work, finish the race and let God say "Well done my good and faithful servant!" I have done other mission work in other places and I ALWAYS come away with more than I contibuted. God is good all the time! Prayers are with you!
